Universities

Where our students go.

We advise on applications to selective universities in the United States, Canada, and Asia-Pacific. Each region decides differently, and we prepare for each on its own terms.

01 — How each region decides

Three systems, three approaches.

United States

Harvard, Yale, Columbia, UPenn, Cornell, NYU, USC, UC Berkeley, UCLA

Holistic review. Essays, recommendations, and the activity record weigh alongside grades, and the early round changes the odds.

  • Common App and UC application management
  • Early Decision and Early Action strategy
  • School-specific supplements
Canada

Toronto, UBC, McGill, Waterloo

Grades first. Admission turns largely on the average in required Grade 12 courses, with supplements and video interviews for competitive programs.

  • Grade 11–12 course selection
  • Program supplements, including the Rotman video interview and the Waterloo AIF
  • Study permit filing
Asia-Pacific

HKU, NUS, NTU

Predicted grades and standardized scores carry most of the weight. Interviews and scholarship rounds test whether the student has done independent work.

  • IB, A-level, and AP credit mapping
  • Interview preparation
  • Scholarship applications
